I'm the one on the right.

I've managed teams and output for things like Adaptive/Responsive web, tablet and mobile as well as AR, VR and mixed reality applications including HUD for automotive and interactive Kiosks.
Production Management
- From simple Grip work to managing $1M+ live action shoots across multiple locations, I've managed production schedules, RFP's, P&L and setup for live, digital and CGI productions big and small for the likes of Wonka, NFL, Wendy's, PNC and FIAT.
Information Architecture & UI Design
- I've done taxonomic and folksonomic content hierarchies, content strategies and copywriting for a variety of platforms including digital radio, online and physical retail spaces including ASDA, BBC, Live Nation and AT&T as well a usability testing and UX design for a multitude of responsive & adaptive platforms including web, tablet and mobile. AR/VR and mixed reality applications including HUD and Kiosks.
Print & Package Design
- In a world of Sans Serif Capitals, I love to Zag when others Zig and know that Luxury isn't just a higher price point. Echoing my work in Wayfinding, I love experimenting with physical materials including ceramics, glass and 3D printing and know that the devil really is in the details.
Physical Signage and Wayfinding
- I'm a Pragmatic Institute and SVPG certified product leader. From Amazon and the BBC to BillOReilly.com and CoreWeave, I've managed positive outcomes for companies big and small and put customers at the forefront of everything I do.
For over 15 years, I've been concepting, launching and managing physical and digital products for a variety of companies across the US and in the UK. I've worked on both the "agency" side as well as the "client" side in a number of roles including UX Design, Project/Program Management, Service Design and Product Management when I find myself spending most of my time these days.
I'm a customer-obsessed problem solver and through the years have built out large enterprise scale platforms such as the launch of Live Nation's digital platforms in the US and UK, the re-design of AT&T's global Intranet and the back-end of Amazon Kindle's "Whispersync" functionality among others. I'm Pragmatic Institute, SVPG and General Assembly certified and the agency work I've managed has won multiple awards including Webby, Clio, FWA, AD&D and Cannes Lions. I've also been a music journalist for the BBC and have written about AR and mobile tech for both UXMag and The Huffington Post.
I don't live in the "ivory tower" or spend most of my days in spreadsheets. Rather, you'll find me often on client sites or in design thinking workshops gathering ammunition to help my teams make legitimate data-informed decisions so that we can improve the lives of all the users that interact with our output.
I'm a big fan of experimenting with the spaces between physical and digital environments to create something new and interesting. I love exploring public transport and architecture in places I've never been before.
These days you can find me usually in some airport lounge reading things like:
• Big Think
• Core77
• Delayed Gratification
• The Economist
• Frame
• Monocle
• Offscreen
• Things Magazine
• Uncrate
• Wallpaper*
I tend to spend what little money my kids are generous enough to leave me on discovering new bands, digital music software, airplane tickets, independent coffee roasters and font foundries. I also hate being bored and I really need a haircut.
If you're still interested, you can find out more about me on Twitter, LinkedIn or Bandcamp.
Thanks for stopping by.
